On Halloween weekend, Taylor and I planned a "Little Sibs Weekend."
Taylor and her little sister Chancie, along with Takoma and Trevor and I, had a slumber party on Friday October 28th and then spent all day Saturday at the City Museum in St. Louis.

For those of my out of state family readers who may not know what the City Museum is, let me explain its magnificence. The museum was built in an abandoned shoe warehouse in downtown St. Louis and everything in the museum is made from recycled parts from the city.
As a 20something year old, I've frequented the City Museum, living only 20 minutes from downtown St. Louis... And you'd be amazed at the ratio of older "kids" to younger ones... it's truly something fun for all ages. It has a 10 story slide from the roof to below ground. And boy is it a bitch to climb to its entrance. (Not so much endurance-wise, but the fact that it is a straight 10 story spiral staircase. Dizziness / 10 story staircases wasn't such a great idea. :p )The museum has caves upon caves that you can get lost in for hours. This is where Takoma and Trevor found most interest. There are free crafts and even a circus that plays every couple of hours with performers from a circus company from St. Louis.

After we left the museum, I had to get gas before heading across the river. I tend to try and get gas in St. Louis anyway, because gas in Missouri is usually about 20 cents cheaper than in Illinois, even in the city. When we stopped at a station... I locked my keys in my car.
Luckily, there was a "Beauty Supply" store attached to the gas station,
so we went in and they so kindly gave us a wire hanger to take.
Let's just say that I was in an area where this man said
that he had experience breaking into cars and could help me. Only my life, I swear.

Despite our mysterious ending to the day, our little sibs had a BLAST and were sad we had to take them back home... But they had trick or treating to do and likewise, we had halloweekend activities to fulfill. Halloween post soon. :]
xoxo Paige
